Hello from Sam's fellow traveler (can fellows be feminine?) At any rate, this is Aud and like Sam I also got a bit of sunburn, although not nearly as much. I didn't think we'd have time to chill on the beach during this trip so I never packed a suit. My bathing suit improvization (aka triangle scarf and skirt) may have saved my skin today because I wasn't so expossed. As Sam mentioned, we had a great time at the market and at the beach! We even collected some of the pebbles and sea glass that washed ashore...we're sure we can use them to make something! This evening Sam needed to take care of some phone calls so I decided to trek up Castle Hill, which proved to leave me breathless in more ways than one. The hundreds of stairs seemed to go on forever as I panted onward. The view from above Nice was well worth the hike, it was phenominal! I could see all of Nice below me and the snow tipped Alps behind the spance of buildings. Its beauty took my breath. It was an exquisite, quiet moment. Although I wish Sam could have joined me, I enjoyed having the reflective and inspiring moment there for myself. We'll certainly have many other stories to tell. Love you all! Thanks for the encouraging words and prayers. Must run before they close the shop. Good night! *muah*
